This Empire lounge set is one of the most popular platform sets of the 4 Seasons Outdoor brand. You can put together this set all by yourself, because all elements are for sale separately. This platform set has a left bench, right bench, corner element and an intermediate module. This Empire lounge set can therefore be placed (almost) anywhere.
Pillows
The cushions of the Empire lounge set are made of materials, which makes it very suitable for outdoor use. The cover of the pillow is made of Olefin. Olefin has the strong property that it is water-repellent and that the cushions cannot discolour.
The filling of the pillow has an open structure. This allows any water that may enter the cushion to flow away more easily through the filling. So it has no “sponge effect”.
Material
The framework of the Empire lounge set is made of aluminium. Aluminum has the property that it cannot rust (it is powder-coated), is low-maintenance and lightweight.
The aluminum has also had a powder coating, so it cannot rust. So perfect for outside!
The sides of the set are finished with teak. Teak wood has the property that small hairline cracks can occur, but also that it will age.
You can counteract aging by treating it twice a year on average (see the heading: maintenance).
Maintenance
Multi surface cleaner: With this you can easily clean the framework and the rope.
- Teak Cleaner: To remove green deposits and other dirt, you can easily clean it with a teak cleaner.
- Teak Shield: Make the teak wood dirt and water repellent. When the teak shield is applied, stains have less or no chance to absorb.
- Teak Protector: To prevent aging, use the teak protector. The advice is to do this twice a year. For best results, do this before the season starts and after the season has ended

The Empire lounge set will be neatly delivered to your home. The backrests only need to be mounted.
